This popular salad dates back to the 1970's. Its "secret" ingredient (dry pistachio pudding) is combined with Cool Whip, pineapple and marshmallows.
 

Ingredients

  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 1 small box pistachio instant pudding mix (dry)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 3/4 cup small marshmallows
  • 1 8 oz Cool Whip

Method

Stir together all ingredients in large bowl and refrigerate.
