Spring Fruit Salad

Pieces of banana (sliced to look like flowers), chopped apple, and canned chunnky mixed fruit are combined. Apricot pie filling is folded into the mixture before chilling.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 firmly ripe bananas
  • 2 cans chunky-style mixed fruit
  • 2 yellow apples
  • 1 can Sprite or other lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  • 2 cans Wilderness Apricot Pie Filling

Method

Run a fork down the sides of the peeled bananas; when sliced, they will look like little white flowers. Place slices in a shallow bowl, and cover with Sprite. They will foam a bit, but this is okay. Drain, save the Sprite. Cut up apples, and cover with the Sprite. Drain; add to bananas. Drain chunky fruit and add to bananas. Cover all with the apricot pie filling. Stir gently until well mixed. Chill several hours.
