A light dressing is all you need to finish this healthy mix of broccoli, apples, grapes, raisins and walnuts. A great make ahead side dish.
Start by rinsing all produce. Cut off broccoli tops only, use very little of the stems. Peel apples (leave a little skin for color), cut into 1 inch pieces. Place in large bowl with raisins and grapes. Toss all together then add salad dressing. Cover bowl then shake until salad dressing is well mixed. Refrigerate overnight, add walnuts (optional) and serve.
Notes:
I think this is best made ahead of time, the flavors blend really well, but can also be served right away. If making ahead I put in a splash of lemon- especially if I can't find Cortland apples. Also good with green grapes, but I like the color of the red.
