Oriental Salad

This oriental salad gets a great crunch from the ramen, water chestnuts and sunflower seeds. The broccoli slaw and red wine vinegar sauce combine nicely.
Ingredients
- 1 package broccoli slaw
- 2 packages ramen noodles
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 small can sliced water chestnuts
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar

Method
Place flavor mix from noodles, oil, vinegar and sugar in pan and cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved then cool. Crush noodles, place in a large bowl with broccoli slaw, sunflower seeds and water chestnuts then mix. Add cooled mix, stir and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve cold.
