Italian Salad

Romaine lettuce pieces are combined with red onion slices, tomato wedges, and peach slices. A dressing of olive oil, red wine vinegar and oregano is prepared and tossed with the salad.
 

Ingredients

  • 1-head romaine lettuce, washed and cut up
  • 1-large red onion, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 2-large red tomatoes, washed and cut in wedges
  • 3-large fresh peaches, skinned and cut in wedges
  • 1-cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2-tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 2-tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • 2-teaspoons oregano

Method

In a large bowl add the lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, and peaches. In a small bowl place olive oil, vinegar, salt, black pepper and oregano; mix very well with a whisk; add to salad and toss.

 

Notes: This is so delicious; you will love this and make it every chance you get.
