Fresh Fruit Salad

Fresh fruit tossed with a tangy citrus dressing made of yogurt and orange juice--a wholesome and refreshing side dish or salad.
 

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1 small carton plain yogurt
  • 1/2 carton lime yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • Fruit:
  • Choose a variety of your favorite fruits. Fresh, in-season fruits are best, but you may also use frozen fruit such as blueberries or strawberries. Select enough fruit to fill a large bowl.

Method

Slice/cube all fruit. Place fruit in bowl and toss with dressing. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Stir or toss the fruit at least 4 times to redistribute the dressing while it chills.

 

Notes: Try using lowfat yogurt to cut additional calories.
