Famous Pink Salad

The infamous, creamy chilled salad seems to show up at every potluck or picnic.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 tub prepared Whip Cream
  • 12 oz. Cottage cheese
  • 1 box Jello mix
  • 1 can Fruit Cocktail

Method

Open canned fruit. Drain very well. While letting drain, mix cottage cheese and packet of gelatin (that will be the color, we usually use strawberry, cherry, or watermelon for the pink). Mix in the fruit. Then mix in whip cream.

 

Notes: You may use any size cool whip, cottage cheese, or however many/sizes can fruit. Depending on how much you would like. 1/2 packet gelatin for smaller, all for larger.
