Creamy Spaghetti Salad


Thin spaghetti is cooked al dente and combined with celery, sweet pepper, onion, olives and pimiento in a mayonnaise dressing.



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb thin spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can chopped black olives, drained
  • 2 oz jar of diced pimientos, drained
  • 1 Tbsp Accent (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt (or to taste)
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice (I use Minute Maid Frozen 100% Lemon Juice)  
  • 4 Tbsp canola oil

Method

Cook Spaghetti just until tender but not mushy (approx. 7 min). Rinse in colander with cold water. Combine remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Add cooked spaghetti and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.

Notes: To double recipe just double all the ingredients.
