Berry Delicious Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients:
| 2 cups | Crushed Pretzels |
| ¼ cup | Crushed Almonds |
| ¾ cup | Melted Butter |
| 4½ Tbsp | Sugar, divided |
| 8 oz pkg | Cream Cheese, softened |
| 1 tsp | Vanilla |
| 9 oz | Container Whipped Topping |
| 6 oz pkg | Strawberry Jello |
| 2 cups | Boiling Water |
| 2 | (10 Oz) Packages Frozen Strawberries |
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the pretzels, almonds, butter, and 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar. Press into a 9 X 13-inch glass pan and bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool. Place 2 tablespoons sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla into a medium mixing bowl. Blend on low for 1 minute. Blend on high for 2 minutes. Scrape down bowl, add whipped topping and blend an additional minute. Spread over pretzel mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Add strawberries and stir until strawberries have thawed. Allow to slightly thicken. Spread over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve, or strawberries are set.
